To increase security, it allows only apps from the Microsoft Store and requires Microsoft Edge for safe browsing. To install applications outside of the store app like Zoom, you would need to switch your Windows 10 out of S mode.

Zoom may be unavailable at first; however, you will likely be able to connect Zoom to the website via Edge or Internet Explorer after the delay. Alternatively, Microsoft will allow you to get a full installation of Windows 10 for free if you select S mode. Open Microsoft Store directly from your Taskbar.
